What does a dragon say?
Rooooooaaaaaaar!
Once Tom taught David what dragons say, he roared the entire time we trick-or-treated.
Check out these two guys.
It took a Halloween miracle to get them to sit still in that wagon and look at the camera.
It’s amazing to see how much they’ve grown since last year.
Also, last year on Halloween, Lindsay told me we were going to have another little trick-or-treater; she was 8 weeks pregnant with Miss Berkley Grace.
A dragon, bunny, and train conductor. I’m not sure why it never occurred to us to put them in coordinating outfits; our years being able to dictate what they wear are probably numbered.
We’d planned on taking the wagon, but that didn’t work out so everyone walked…except Berkley Grace. She hitched a ride with her daddy.
David’s never walked farther than maybe…across our living room…so I was sure he’d get tired quickly. But I was wrong. He held Tom and my hand and walked block after block, roaring whenever we tried to carry him.
Halloween was great this year, perfect and awesome surroundings. We’re in a bit of a Halloween sweet spot with the kids. They have adorable costumes, and don’t seem to get too scared by spooky decorations. And even though Caleb did trick or treat, neither of the boys really obsess over the candy.
That’s not to say I’m not looking forward to the years when David brings home a 18-lb. pillow case full of Snickers and M&M’s. No, that’s not what I said at all.
Hahah I am imagining him roaring every time you tried to pick him up. Looks like he did a GREAT job trick or treating! Love all their costumes. (yes I am posting this during the Hokie game because watching it with undivided attention is way too frustrating). Also, he is more and more looking exactly like you.
what a cute little dragon! I love it!
What an adorable dragon!! L actually wanted to be a dinosaur at first, and we looked at a similar costume… I think Elmo fit her a bit better. 🙂
