A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2019.

The four of them / Here’s a quick photography tip: a well-composed photograph should be free of clutter. Remove items in the foreground and background that are busy and distracting.

Unless your four children are playing (sort of) together. In that instance, run into the room and take the photo. Don’t worry about light or composition or framing. Consider that in 10 years you’ll look back at this photo and laugh because, “Wonder why the sleeping pad is in the playroom?” and “Remember when Mary used to empty the entire stuffed animal bin looking for just one toy?”
