The newest, littlest Krieger

Thomas Christopher Krieger Jr.

Born May 19, 2015

8 lb, 10 oz., 22 in.

Mommy and Daddy enter the hospital: 6:35 a.m.
Baby Thomas enters the world: 6:38 a.m.

Since the very beginning, Thomas has been sucking on his fingers and chewing on his hands. He doesn’t seem to be the sort of drowsy newborn who will nurse and then collapse into sleep, even if you just plop them down on the kitchen floor.

No, baby Thomas needs to be swaddled, suckled, convinced, and reasoned with before he sleeps. And even then…

I suppose that means he’ll fit into our family just fine.

Much more to come — on the siblings, the name, the birth story.

But for now, check out baby Thomas.

Thank you to our friends and family, near and far, for supporting our family as we anticipated his birth and celebrated his arrival with childcare, visits, calls, texts, gifts, meals, and so much love.

We are so grateful.

“Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.”

Psalm 100
