We’re having quite the snow day here in Richmond, Va.
It’s way too cold and windy for a delicate flower like myself to go outside, even for the sake of a photo. I mean, I’d probably need to put on a coat or something, right? No thank you.
I took this through our living room window while sitting on the couch, drinking iced coffee.
This morning we stayed in our pajamas, baked two loaves of bread, started a pot of soup, played with trucks and watched Sesame Street. (Which, apparently, comes on twice in the morning. Thanks, PBS.)
All that snow makes this impulse buy I made at Kroger yesterday all the more justified.
Because spring is right around the corner.
And, to me, spring smells like a hyacinth.
And looks like a tulip.
(Even if reality is a little more chilly.)
Gorgeous! Enjoy it for me… we were hoping to get a little snow while in PA last week, but nada.
I actually kind of miss snow…and winter. I’m just as surprised as you are.
I love the way David Andrew lines his trucks up and I hope he got to experience a “first snow” while a toddler. Richmond snow is far and few between!
