Today is Halloween, and I didn’t even have a chance to get excited because we all spent the past week preparing to get blown away by Hurricane Sandy (which didn’t happen, and my pansies are fine).
This year we’re going trick-or-treating with David’s cousins Caleb and Berkley Grace. Since this is our second year, I suppose it might be safe to call this our Halloween tradition.
This year we’ll do things a little differently, though. We’re still going to Hanover Ave., but this time we…I mean I…won’t force everyone to press on in a downpour. If conditions change, whether that means a fussy trick-or-treater or bad weather, it’s totally fine if we have to go home. See how much I’ve matured in a year?
Last year David was a doggy, this year he’s going as a dragon; a green, drooling dragon.
He’s officially walking now, and doing that Frankenstein walk babies do when they’re just learning to balance.
So his official costume is a drooling Franken-dragon.
I’ll post pictures tomorrow…
Until then, Happy Halloween.
I’m glad you didn’t get much from Sandy… it’s crazy to see a hurricane hit the east coast. And now we moved to hurricane land and we’ve had nothing! Enjoy Halloween with him. 🙂
we actually have a few hurricanes a year — irene left us without power 13 days after david was born! happy halloween guys! can’t wait to see pictures!!!
He is very bald. Rich must be so pleased.
you’re right on both counts
