Spring

SPRING IS HERE! Let’s all pop a Claritin and go roll around in a bunch of pollen because it’s not going to snow again FOR AT LEAST SIX MONTHS!

The transition seasons are wonderful — capricious, but wonderful. And while the chill of fall if foreboding, the warmth of spring is exciting. The only thing missing in spring is college football.  But who could possibly watch college football in the spring because we’re all so busy getting reacquainted with the outdoors. And allergy medication.

Every single sneeze is all worth it for the flowers — flowers everywhere.

Spring, so delightful and full of fun. We can play outside all day, and every night is bath night. (And sometimes even twice a day.)

Spring, when we eat every meal on a blanket in the back yard. And when it’s time to clean up, we just turn on the hose.

Then, when David says, “Now it’s your turn, Mommy!” I have to think about it.

(But only for a moment.)

Then we all take a turn.

Because it’s spring. We’ve been waiting all winter for this.

  1. so fun! so happy summer is almost here. Although here in Texas we have been wearing jackets the last few days, the weather is a bit crazy.

Playing in the sprinklers is the best! And the lighting on your pictures is amazing. The sun is dancing off the water in ever single one. I came over from the link up at Practising Simplicity.
