Part of being the second child is wearing hand-me-downs. Mary Virginia already wears hand-me-downs all the time from friends, her cousins, her brother. This blue sleeper is actually a hand-me-hand-me-hand-me-down. At least two of my sister’s kids wore it before David.
And now, even though it’s blue (which ubiquitously means boy in baby language), Mary Virginia is wearing it. Because it’s soft and comfy, which is even more important than being blue.
But, I dunno, I think she still looks like a girl, even in a blue sleeper.
I swear there’s something girlie about her chubby cheeks, bright blue eyes and a sweet smile.
Or maybe I just think so because I’m her mama.
Oh my goodness. She’s so beautiful, just like her mama! Love you both!
That sleeper has gone well around the block. A mom with two boys passed it down to me. 🙂
wow! we’ll have to make sure to pass it on!
So cute!
SO CUTE!
She has the best eyes!
