A day at the park

Last Saturday Tom and I both made to-do lists.

One of our lists looked like this:

1. run 10 miles
2. mow the lawn
3. enclose our compost pile
4. vacuum
5. dust
6. trim shrubs
7. watch 10 hours of basketball

The other looked like this:

1. Go to the playground and put David in the baby swing

I’ll just let you guess who made which list.
I’ll also let you guess who crossed off all the items on their to-do list.

HOLLA!

He loved it.

We think his wide-open smile sort of looks like Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes here.

And, of course, there’s Calvin’s dad.

I can see some resemblance there, too.

sorry, couldn’t find a place to leave a message, so…
the baby Hokie outfit was from FansEdge (they don’t seem to have them right now) but it was called a "costume" so maybe they’ll be back in the fall. the company that makes it is <a href="http://www.mascotwearnation.com/" rel="nofollow">http://www.mascotwearnation.co… so I’d keep an eye there too to see if they pop up again. it even has tailfeathers on the back and a dewlap on the beak. it’s Awe.Some.

I like Calvin’s dad’s slogan! When you become a permanent pedestrian you begin to HATE people that drive. Polluting inconsiderate maniacs! Do you know why David smiles that way? You taught him. 🙂
